Edit Model Groups

Is there a write-up..explanation ... of the Layout Mode and Grid Size options in Model Group edit?

If one of my Model Groups is basically a Whole house  model, and I make the grid size larger, does it improve the quality of the actual   "lights"   display when I run my show?

I think most people will be happy with Minimal Grid since it creates a model size that is just the right size to house it's contents.
