Yes and I asked you how do you have things setup in xLights?  We need to see some screenshots to know if you have things configured correctly.

In the xLights Setup page screenshot the Enabled column says "No" for you're 4th block of outputs.

In the model screen , the last channel ends at  6450 , but the setup says 7140, so your calculations may be out somwwhere = probably the model screen where u have individual start channels configured.

gilrock i saw that after i sent it but when i changed it there was no difference.  Gerry the difference in the channel count is because i dont more lights on the setup i just used 4 universes but only had lights for 3 and where it was at the end i didnt that it would matter.

I assume you are running live from xLights and the preview is being sent to the hardware?  What effect was that you were trying to display and was it a single effect on that model?  How about trying a different effect like a Butterfly just to see if it displays uniformly.  Is this your only controller?  It would be nice if you had something else so you could rule things out.

on the video it was bars. when i try marquee everything moves uniformly until it gets to that side.  i was in the sequence tab with the output turned on.  i only tried single effects i tried pinwheel and on that side it would be 1 or 2 pixels that would be about 1 step back.  I have 2 of the same controller and they act identical.  i also have a alphapix 16 and a p12s, but i would have to rewire it.  If i cant figure it out by the weekend then that is what i might do.

Maybe try swapping the strings to different outputs just to see if it stays with output 4 or the strings.  Not sure if you mentioned trying that already.

Universes directed to a P10 panel must be defined as 512 though..

Gerry, I do not concur with this information. I have the BBB running FPP and a growing P10 matrix. Universes are set to 510 with no issue. If I set to 512, the colors are off at the 170 pixel boundaries.  I wonder what's different between our setups.

Are you guys talking about the same thing?  Sounds like Gerry is only talking about the P10 universes and Steve is talking about the Alphapix universes.

This is a side topic not related to the Alphapix4 but since it's here I thought I'd share that I'm also running 512 per universe to my P10 panels and they work fine like that because FPP doesn't care about those type of boundaries.  It makes it easy cause you can just define #universes = #panels * 3.  I have 20 panels so I define 60 universes in xLights and in FPP.

I was talking about E1.31/DMX universes used to communicate to the BBB via the FPP.

I may be missing something here .

On my setup screen (I am a simple person) , I have one row per universe or sometimes more than one row per Universe (see examples in the manual)
ie have not tried to group then as has been done here - (not saying this is wrong) , but I took the firts line of the setup and to me it works out as  680 pixels (ie 2040/3)  but the alpha screen shows 600 . And the next is = 340 (3060-2041+1)/3 , but alphas screen says 300.
