channel explanation needed
« on: October 20, 2015, 09:16:59 AM »
My house outline has 3 controllers each with 4 outputs which I am assuming is a universe. So when I setup the channels I made the start channel in each model in the next universe at the start of what was said to be the start channel in the setup page, no matter how many channels were left in the previous channel. Is this correct method? Also  I have a mega tree and when I used the model template for it, I could'nt change when the next string of pixels start channel begins, so does the output dictate the universe? Is I guess what I am asking?

thank you for your time
scott

For your mega tree there is a box on the model screen that says individual start channels.  Check that and you can make every string have a inidivually assigned start channel.

It depends on the controller.  Some controllers can span multiple universes in one output.

it's an alpha pix controller. To jnealand, thank you. I did not see that.
