Do you have superstar software? If so, take a look at the configuration to see the network settings. I'm not sure how they are set when you buy them. You may have to change a few settings.

I just looked, when mine were sent to me they were set to LOR. I had to set to DMX, turn the star off, and set DMX to tightly packed.
Of course, this assumes your model is setup correctly, 50 pixels per string starting at the bottom.

i am not that familar with LOR but i will take a look. My model is a 26 x 75 tree so i dont know if that matters, but the stuff that plays on it looks fine. the other thing is the last 25 to 30 seconds have nothing showing,no effects or anything.

I thought about it more, if you are importing then the configuration shouldn't matter. I was thinking about data layer, which it would. The sequence you purchased was most likely for a 16x50 tree.
What resolution is your sequence, 20, 50, 100ms?

Are U importing the file as a sup or a lms.
If sup then NC will analyze the effect and create one the best it can. For the most part this is fine. The nice thing about importing as a sup file is your NC file will remain small and saving will not take long. If you want the effect to be more like the original then you have to import it as a lms "data" file.
In SS in configuration you can size the ccr's to match your model configuration. I have imported a 16 bar ccr tree into a 24 strand mega tree that has 85 nodes per strand as compared to the 50 nodes in the normal ccr strand and put it in the strands 5-20 of the mega tree and it worked perfectly. The star information you will have to manually put into your model if you are using anything besides on and off channels. In my case my star on the mega tree is 80 nodes not 6 channels so I have to manual put in the effects where I want them.
Hope this helped

thank you all for the help. I went back through and deleted everything and started fresh and it looks to be working and showing the correct stuff. I must have screwed up one of my step. Again thank you for your help.
