Hi all....
UPDATE: Anyone who runs into this....there is a cause for the effect....
Sorry for the pun.....
Sean responded to my post over on the DIY site. It seems that the morph tickbox can cause a fade type effect in certain situations...well at least it looks like a fade...
I had NC generate a couple of random effects and in 1 of them it slipped in a check in the morph box for the last effect in the song.....for some odd reason that morph overrode EVERY effect and caused a fade on every effect.....not just the one with the ticked morph box......Untick the box....save....re-export the model(s) and badda bing......it works
Thanks again Sean....
Original post follows:I think I have gremlins..... I was working on a sequence....exported effects and dropped them into HLS. No problem.....
I hit 'play' and the effects work like a charm....EXCEPT.....every effect fades out at the end.....In NC Fade In/Fade Out are set to zero....
When I play )F4) the sequence in XL/NC.....I see no fades....same in NC preview...
I noticed this in a sequence once before and I sort of like the effect so I made no attempt to "unfade"..... then as I continued to work on the sequence and add/save several times the fades just stopped.....nothing that I consciously did...
In the current sequence though.....I don't want the fades and can't get them to go away....
I'm sure I'm not holding my mouth right in NC......someplace..... I don't think it's an HLS issue....as it just plays what's dropped into it....and can't just fade all the effects dropped in.....
Can someone tell me how to change this?
I'm going to post this on the DIYC site also as it seems to get more traffic and might help others...
Thanks
SC
