Love the dimming curves.

Since this is a difficult topic, could you have defaults for none, LED's and incandescents?

For LED's, I am using a gamma of 2.22 for all colors.

A huge innovation - thanks Dan! I can finally get my technicolor pixels with white covers to display colors (like orange) that resemble what I see in NC. Ron, thanks for providing a starting point. I'm certainly interested in seeing what people are using for various types of LEDs.

Since this is a difficult topic...

I have only vaguely understood what the last two effects released do , much less try and use or document them :)

I think Dan and Gil have accelerated away, leaving the mortals behind...

...

That was the motivation...   I was not happy with the colors for my Halloween show this year.   The purples looked too pinkish, the oranges too yellow, etc...  No one else cared or likely even noticed, but I was not happy about it.   I went back into HLS (hadn't even opened HLS for several months) and re-exported everything to try and figure out why things looked better last year.   I had completely forgotten that I had set custom dimming curves in HLS for all the LED based stuff.   Once I realized the was the issue, adding it to xLights became important.   :-)

(I should also mention that I'm completely color blind, so for me to notice that colors were "off" means they had to be really off)

Same here - Halloween colors are certainly not "native" to LEDs. Replicating the color of incandescent lights is also non-trivial - my wife gives me a lot of grief about that one...
