One of my strips was blowing fuses, so I checked resistance across the power leads and compared to a strip that was not blowing fuses. This strip measured 41 ohms versus 1.9k ohms for the good strip. Took the heat shrink off and found that the pos & neg leads were becoming "one"--I had gotten overzealous with the heat gun when putting the bigger heat shrink over all the leads. Checked resistance again after re-heat shrinking--this one now about 2k ohms--similar to the good strip. Powered it up and all is good. Figured I would share yet another "why we fuse" story,,,
Posted PDF of the pic. Sorry not real clear; took it with my phone...
