Faces Effect
« on: December 08, 2015, 02:11:41 PM »
I'm trying to add the Faces effect, but noting is happening. I added a timing track with marks, imported lyrics, broke down phrases, broke down words, get phonemes, drag face effect to model, set effect setting to the timing track and face definition, and checked color. I have used it before, just can't get it to work now.

I found out that the effect is working however, I do not see any of the timing marks like you would see in the second pic.

Sorry I have no idea what timing marks you are referring to?

If you look at the second picture, they would be the white marls underneath the faces effect. The ones one the node level.

Ok that's not timing marks that's your data.  If you don't see it then it's not rendered or not there for some reason.

Everything else seems to work ok. All the other effects show up right and the faces even work correct when played, just don't have the data displayed for them.

And you've hit the Render All green gear icon?

Yes. I even though that something might be wrong with that particular model so, I deleted it and re-added it with the same results.

Figured it out.....Node values were not on. I appreciate your help Gilrock. You guys are awesome!!!

One other question, I am trying to do a chase using the Alt drag method. I can highlight a column and place effects, but they won't move into a angled chase pattern. I can get one to stretch, but not all of them in a chase pattern.

You forgot to select the effects or you did something to unselect them before you held down Alt and dragged.
