Gil, question re your setup using Logans Star War's
« on: December 19, 2015, 12:24:39 AM »
Hi Gil, just watched the news story on your show. Nice job to you and Logan. I finally got everything ported over.

However, I noticed your megatree(s) are full of all the picture displays.  When I convert mine, it only does a small portion of the middle, doesn't fill the whole tree like yours does.  Did you resize the images to fit your tree.

Am I missing something on my import. I followed your step, by step. It worked fine, except the smaller images on my mega.   My tree is 24x150, How do I get it to fill up like yours did.

Still in setup hell, show not running yet....sucks!

Thanks,
David

Maybe I got lucky since my trees were close in size to his trees.  Mine are 50 and 42 tall so the images worked well.  Yours are 150 tall so you would need to do work on the images and possibly change some of the positions when it does the movements.

Mine is 24 x 75 and it just fitted also but you can use paint to resize the images.

OK, thanks Gil. I did try a resize of the image. However, it screwed up everything. Logan must have some layer or something in some of his gifs.

After re-sizing to 20x100, I lost the jumping man, Bruno didn't move or sing properly, the x-wing fighter had a white background with it, and the falcon wasn't shooting anymore.  At this point, I have it working using Logan's tree size, so I'll leave well enough alone. Perhaps add this to the next year enhancement list  ;)
At least I'm slowly crawling out of my setup hell, making a little progress.

Best,
David

Those are mostly Animated GIFs, so you'll can use EZGIF.com's Resize option to enlarge.

http://ezgif.com/resize

My horizontal matrix (no pixel megatree this year) is only 30 high and it did cut off a bit at the bottom but I didn't need to resize.
