How to do Roof line
« on: December 26, 2015, 02:41:46 PM »
Hi All,

I am hoping to do a roof outline with iciles hanging down.  they would all be RGB.  What would be the best way to show that in NC/XL so that it will look ok from the road.  the perspective is different when looking at a pciture so I dont want to mess up the model layout.  I have attached a picture of what I am proposing.  Will this work for the display or should I do something else?

It looks ok.  Did you use a custom model?  Just making sure you didn't draw it with a bunch of straight line models.  Not sure I would angle the icicles where it cuts backwards.  I just let them go straight out past the end.

I did a custom for the icicles.  So would it be better to just make them small down the side or just go straight?  If they are straight wont they look strange when a wipe of similar effect occurs?

I doubt that you would notice as effects move so fast thru the lights.  You might notice it, but your audience never will.
