I'm not at a machine, but isn't there a convert tab?

Yes there is a convert tab. When I pick output format xlights sequence, .xseq, then click convert, it opens another  box, there is a Back folder and a dated file. But I can not open it.
I previously had saved the sequence.   I however can find the sequence that I created in the Show directory folder. But it isn't available from the other box when I choose to convert it.

The older version has an Export tab

Did you previously save in Xlights 4? If so, it saves as a .xml file not a .xseq file.

We don't use .xseq files anymore that was the legacy format for XL3 and is only there to support old files.  New files are saved as XML for the sequence with effects and the data file saved is .fseq.

Yes I created it and saved n latest version 4. Also backed it up.
fseq..........I wasn't aware that would be the file that I should be concerned with.

But it isn't available to be converted to a .vir file.  The only item in the next box after I clicked choose conversion  is "Backup" and I open that folder, a dated file folder shows up but there is nothing in it.

Ok, editing,  I failed to pick correct file extension in the pull down window.

I found the fseq sequence that was saved  and did a conversion to .vir.
Located the file in the show directory and inserted  into vixen sequence. Looks like it is a Done thing.
thanks guys
