Howard Holiday Lighting Update
« on: April 01, 2016, 07:03:56 PM »
I'm sitting here staring at my new LED Magnifying Lamp with Third Hand from Amazon. It's on my left. On my right is 250 ft of SOOW 16 gauge 3 wire. Behind me are 8 new ChromaFlakes, and next to them 800 square RGB nodes. As I glance to the other side of my desk I see the new Beaglebone Black and power cable sitting next to a Pi I played with a few weeks ago.

Soon to arrrive, Oodles of PSUs, F16V2's, 3,000 more RGB pixels, 240 dump pixels, pigtails, cg-1500s, Octoscoller w RTC, 5 DistroBoards, and 4 P10 Panels w 350W 5V Meanwell PSU to play with. I'll need 52 more Panels and 2,400 more Pixels for my MegaTree.

If that wasn't enough I've ordered 8 RIP Tombstone Graves, Guitar Playing Skeleton, Skeleton Playing Drums, and Singing Pumpkin Face for Halloween.

This has gone far beyond the classification of hobby. It has now become an olympic sport! I think I need to run to the store to get some tonic for my vodka! ;-)

I almost forgot:  I've drilled 3,000 1/2 inch holes in a bunch of PVC. Window frames and Spinners done and painted. 8 more cans of spray paint waiting for me to finish the rest of the pipe for the eaves. This is way too much fun to be allowed to have, right?

Where did you order the Halloween props from? I made a singing pumpkins myself last year about 4x4 in size with a small p10 matrix as the mouth.

When I saw the orange coro I know what I was going to do with it.

The dog bone eye cutouts was 100% my daughters idea. I can't take credit for that :)
