The point where aha moments cost
« on: April 11, 2016, 09:00:12 PM »
I recently purchased HC's skeleton guitarist, drummer and Singing Pumpkin. The skeletons take M5 Leds and the Pumpkin bullet nodes. I opted for the Dumb RGB thinking it would work with the F16V2. The nodes are 4 wire and all my purchased pigtails are 3 wire. Then it dawned on there are dumb controllers which I do not want. I should have went with RGB pixels and been done with it. I wonder if HC will exchange the nodes?

Probably not from a pre-sale!

I have a couple sets of dumb nodes myself that will likely never be used..

Well if they wont take them back here is an idea. Gift boxes for under the tree. These are made out of coro and are only 2 1/2 thick. A 36 channel dumb controller is around 60.00. I have 10 boxes and the other 6 channels are for floods. A little ribbon and away we go......
