Tools/Test Channel 1 lights as channel 2

I am using E1.31 with a bridge to DMX on universe 10 512 channels. These are used with LOR AC  16 channel controllers. I have only tested the first 6 channels but when channel 1 is selected it lights channel 2, channel 2 lights channel 3 etc. If i select the entire controller channel 1 never lights up. When I play a sequence the controller works correctly. This is happening in 2016.14 and .15
