I have a 48x48 section that will be over my 56 panel P10 matrix. For Halloween I will have a singing Pumpkin. Still deciding RGB vs Dumb RGB. I already have the dumb nodes but will have to buy a controller. With 4 Fs16v2s I have plenty of room. Now for the real opinion support: Should I get the 46x46 Singing Christmas Tree or use my Matrix for faces for Xmas? Should I just stick with smart RGB or go the Dumb route. Kind of answers itself doesn't it? LOL

Get the smart pixels, you can program them to look like dumb pixels if need be. You won't regret it.

Minor point, but Smart Pixels draw less amperage that dumb pixels. I've been surprised at the amperage of some dumb pixels.

Good to know. Well, I've decided to go with Smart Pixels. I've built my model and trying to learn how to assign and manage the movements. Thank God I am going to training this week! LOL

BTW, David at HC was very nice about it. I can return them or exchange them. Thus far my experience has been good with them. I am finding out who is responsive and customer focussed and who is not.

Ron in my experience with David from HC he does try to be responsive and more than fair even when it may put him at a disadvantage.
