One could only wish for this.

Were you on the weekly call last night? Don't recall your handle.

Sean has covered this and how it will be used with Nutcracker fairly extensively in the last two Thursday evening training sessions. You can go look at them here if you have not done so yet:

Hope those are of some benefit.

I saw the video, thanks.  I think you missed the point.

Nutcracker, which was once a stand alone is now embedded in Xlights.

It would be very cool if Glediator was also embedded in Xlights.  I know, they're totally different platforms, but a guy can only wish.

That would require that Sean have access to the core code for Glediator and as he says in his videos that is not to happen.

The only reason Nutcracker is located within xLights is that Nutcracker was rewritten in C+ (could have been C++) by Dowdy Brown of xLights and integrated into it by him. Otherwise Nutcracker would still be a stand alone effects generator.

It is nice to dream though. Now that the fantastic four are back on the job you never can tell what amazing things will happen. :)

You can save a Glediator file and then play it using the Glediator effect, provided the size generated matched the x,y size of your model.
