ERROR WHEN SAVING
« on: September 04, 2016, 06:24:11 AM »
21:21:36: can't read from file descriptor 3 (error 998: invalid access to memory location.)

21:21:36: can't read from file descriptor 3 (error 998: invalid access to memory location.)

The error above appears when saving a sequence, mp3, fseq, xml are all in single folder.
Song and effects play ok, click save and error appears, but but save and render are still working on the command line at bottom left of xl4 screen. If I unclick 'Render on Save', then save proceeds ok, reselect  'Render on Save'
 and same error appears
Cheers Boof63
PS tried using another older sequence and a fresh one, both worked fine with and without 'Render on Save'
selected

That error doesn't come from our code base so we would need to be able to reproduce it.  I'd guess its something related to the mp3 but we'd probably need the sequence since I suspect you may be using effects that react to the audio so its trying to process the mp3 during rendering.

searching on the error in google only comes up with 49,000+ hits.  But I don't understand any of them, LOL.

looks like the MP3 was corrupt, other sequences are fine, so started from scratch
cheers and thanks
