So first off I wanted to see if someone can just help me on how to search for my issue.  Also if this is more of a holidaycoro issue or if it can be fixed in xLights.  I'm new so even if it seems simple it might be what I need here.

So I have the following hardware
alphapix 16 - from HolidayCoro
30/30 Strip (10 qty) - HolidayCoro purchased at the same time.

I'm using xlights v50.

These 10 strings are used to create a megatree which I have build one model in xlights.

I left my controller set for RGB so when I used the test function on the controller I see various colors across the 10 strings.  I chose to change the string properties in the layout of xlights to be BGR which seems to match half my strings while the other half is like GRB.  Is this normal?  How do I resolve this issue so all my colors match?

My thought was I would have to build multiple single strand models and then group them to one group called megatree.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks
Kris

I could have swore I read a post almost identical to this with holiday Coro strips. If I recall that person called Dave at holiday Coro to get some help. If that's the case maybe Dave will send you some matching strips he should know that it's a problem. I recently bought strips from holiday Coro that are still in the package I guess I'm going to have to test them

You should be able to go into the Alphapix and set one universe to RGB, another to GRB, etc.  That will take care of the color issue, just make sure you hook the correct strips to the applicable universe(s).

Thank you for your responses.  I was able to figure my issue out.  There was nothing wrong with the strips.  I had defined 1 output in the controller as 2 universes but when I built the megatree model in xLights it was using 1 output as one universe.  Once I correct the model and defined the location of the strings in xLights it fixed my issue.

I guess kind of weird results for what was setup.  Hopefully if someone else runs into this it might help them.

For anyone else reading this, you can set the color order by SPI output in the Alphapix.  You can also do it in the Pixlite and Falcon.
