Which way have you found easier? Sorry, kind of long.

This will be the first year that I have attempted to use xlights to build and sequence an entire display.  Last year I used it but only to run some basic stuff on my eaves and windows.  My last full show was run in Vixen 2.1.  I use a lot of props and had 1100 channels of LED's.  It was a struggle this year to build the new layout itself until I figured out how to manipulate the X & Y coordinates to move smaller objects around instead of trying to grab the handles and end up moving the wrong thing.  :-[   I will still have several hundred channels of Renard controlled LED props this year (Mini Trees, Twig Trees, Stars, etc.) many of them 4 colors.  I am struggling with where to plan the Renard props in the channel progression.  With the higher baud rate possible with e1.31, I believe I can daisy chain all of the controllers off one Renard output of a F16.  My dilemma is - what have you found to be the easiest and most productive way to set up the non-pixel lights in XL?  (first, last, doesn't matter)   I would appreciate any guidance you can provide.

I have all my Renard stuff set up with DMX protocol I dedicated the first Universe to All My A/C stuff and dumb RGB. My thought was if I try to put it at the end I'll have to keep moving it or when I add on it'll end up in the middle someplace. I just thought it was cleaner to have it set on the first universe but that's my preference
