I'm trying to help another member setup his display in xLights. 95% of his display is still single channel A/C lights connected to LOR controllers. I'm running into an issue setting up the models in xLights.
As an example, he has 9-channel arches where the channels span across different controllers. If the channels were consecutive it would be no problem, but his channel assignments looks like this:
LOR ID 4 - Channel 10 : Arch Section 1 = xLights Channel 58
LOR ID 4 - Channel 11 : Arch Section 2 = xLights Channel 59
LOR ID 4 - Channel 12 : Arch Section 3 = xLights Channel 60
LOR ID 4 - Channel 13 : Arch Section 4 = xLights Channel 61
LOR ID 4 - Channel 14 : Arch Section 5 = xLights Channel 62
LOR ID 4 - Channel 15 : NOT CONNECTED = xLights Channel 63
LOR ID 4 - Channel 16 : NOT CONNECTED = xLights Channel 64
LOR ID 5 - Channel 01 : Arch Section 6 = xLights Channel 65
LOR ID 5 - Channel 02 : Arch Section 7 = xLights Channel 66
LOR ID 5 - Channel 03 : Arch Section 8 = xLights Channel 67
LOR ID 5 - Channel 04 : Arch Section 9 = xLights Channel 68
I thought I could use individual start channels to account for the non-consecutive numbering, but I'm unable to check the box and assign different start channels. Is this because the arch model assumes you're only using one string?
