Addressing individual legs of a mega tree
« on: October 28, 2016, 06:27:10 PM »
One of my mega trees has an F16V2 controller output attached to each leg.  Along with 70 pixels (210 channels), there are another 70 pixels in the form of a mini-tree attached to the end of each leg and after that 20 pixels in a star pattern.  Power injected, this works great.  The F16V2's virtual string is a wonder.

The problem is in xLights I want to address the three different elements on the 12 legs of the "mega-tree".  So far I have been able to get to the mini-trees and the stars, and the mega-tree as a whole.  Unfortunately, the main mega-tree does not have a breakout for the different legs.  It was created using the standard mega-tree insert in the layout section.

Any ideas as to how do this would be appreciated.

Thanks
Al

Not sure what you mean by a breakout.  From the description of how it's wired it sounds like you just need to use Individual start channels.  If you check that box then you can type in a start channel for every string.
