Dimming curve question

I may have read this somewhere before but I can't remember the answer. Does changing the dimming curve in the model settings under layout change the Curve on the sequence file? Or does it only apply to the output from xlights? I just want to know if I make a change here will it be reflected in the output from the fpp or do I need to make a change in the controller

I just tested this out and I can say that it affects both.

I applied a dimming curve, saved, then clicked output to lights and my prop was definitely less bright.

With a dimming curve applied to a model, when you render the fseq, the entire sequence for that model will adjusted accordingly.
