Rectangular drag selection
« on: November 11, 2016, 04:38:01 AM »
I accidentally stumbled upon the feature that drags a rectangle over a set of effects in the grid, and select all of them.

However, no matter how much I try I can't remember what I did to get that.

What's the actual UI gesture to do drag-select?

You can only do this if you have all timing tracks deselected. These are the radio buttons.

Yep there are 2 selection modes.  With no timing track you get the dashed yellow box selection.  With a timing track active then it becomes cell selection mode so if you have no timing marks on the track you basically can't select anything in that mode.
