Effects on a circle
« on: December 26, 2016, 09:59:09 PM »
I have a circle element with three concentric circles. I would like to introduce and effect wherein the innermost circle lights up first , as it turns off the second circle lights up and then the third one. Essentially the three circles light up one after the other starting the circle in the middle. Any ideas on how to achieve this. Thanks

I would first start by taking the model and creating 3 sub models. each sub model is one ring of the cir. then just the on effect with either a ramp up/down or a fade in/out time. you can just overlap the effects to create the look of one going on as the last is going off. with sub models the break up of the main model is endless.

If it's a single Circle model to create the 3 circles you can inspect the Node Layout and you would see by default its really a horizontal matrix.  That's means you could just do a normal Bars effects with an up or down direction and it will look like the colors are moving in or out lighting up the entire circle for each color.
