View active element(s) in time line view
« on: April 27, 2017, 08:46:08 PM »
Just wondering - would it possible to add a system view in the timeline, that as the sequence is being played/tested (sorry not sure of correct terminology), it will only show the element that is active at that time.  For instance, if element a, b, d and g were doing something, they would show up in the view.  if it then became a,b and c then they would automatically show.  I work on the laptop during the commute to/from work, and being able to quickly see what is live at that point in the sequence would be great for slight adjustments.  I can manually try to create the view, but I would then have to have x number of variations to cover all the different items.

Is the house view not what you want?

Yeah isn't that what the House View already does?  Or are you saying you expect the rows to disappear if there are no effects on them?  I can tell you I don't see that happening.

I think it is even worse than that Gil. I think he is asking for rows to appear and disappear as the song plays depending on whether effects exist at that instant. I agree with you. I don't see it ever happening.

Yeah that's what I thought he meant also.  I might add that feature for $5K

I might pay you that amount to remove that feature.  8)
