New feature - Controller connection
« on: April 29, 2017, 03:49:15 PM »
I am using xlights version 2017.9 64bit (iMac 27").  Under the Layout tab in the model description area, there is a "Controller Connection" feature that I don't believe is in the version I used last year.  My mega-tree worked great last year.

My question is whether I need to go back and set the Controller Connection, or if I can just leave it blank, or it just doesn't matter?

I really did try and search if this was already discussed somewhere, but no joy.

Thanks in advance,
Bob

P.S.,  I love this board.

you do not need to set it. it is there so people can configure their controller once in xlights and then have that information pushed to either the falcon or pixlite controllers. you can always configure those boards the old may, manually after you have set up xlights
