xSchedule Virtual Matrix enhancement request
« on: July 12, 2017, 03:12:40 AM »
is there any chance in xSchedule for Virtual Matrices there could be a Rotation of 180
seeing as display is currently upside down and there doesn't appear to be a way to make it right side up.

also, is there a way it could be changed to be able to manually modify the Size and Location figures?

I noticed that if you make window full size location is -8,-8 which doesn't seem right, bug perhaps?

when you create a virtual matrix in xlights it should be 1 string per line and the start point should be top right ... there is no need to do a 180 rotation.

The -8,-8 is a result of the way windows work ... it should not impact how it displays.

after LOTS of experimentation Top Left starting location in xLights was only way to get virtual matrix correct way up in xSchedule.

anyway, is there still any chance you could implement a 180 rotation into xSchedule so people don't have to choose a particular orientation in xLights?

and there's still the question, is it possible to implement manual changing of Size and Location figures?

If this is too difficult, time consuming, or you just couldn't be bothered,  ;D  I'll fully understand. xLights and xSchedule are still an amazing product at at fantastic price.

Oz. Having to choose top left is no different to having to set the start location on a regular matrix to match how you wired it. It happens to be how your operating system screen coordinates work.

I will look at the other request.
