Mac Preview windows randomly move to main monitor

Anytime I click on something that opens a new window like create a new sequence all of my different preview windows move to the main screen on my MacBook Pro

Sorry.  Don't know how to change that.  There is no code that will even move the windows unless you do a Reset to Defaults under view.  Only thing I can suggest is you should delete your entire configuration section in the xlights_rgbeffects.xml file and then create new perspectives.  Maybe they got messed up at some point causing the aui_manager to continue to reset positions.

I tried that and it did not fix it. I went through the different versions of xlights and it did not start happening until version 2017.15b.

I have been dealing with a similar issue ever since early 2016 on my duel monitor Mac set up.  My issue was the windows from the second monitor would always jump over to the main monitor every time I would switch tabs between the sequencer, layout and back to the sequencer.  I would then have to reload the perspective to get the windows back into their proper location on the second monitor.
