Possibly a question for Keith.  I am currently setting up xSchedule 2017.34 64 bit to include running two batch files with each sequence using the Run Process dialogue. To get the "Run Prrocess" batch files to run, I found, after numerous permutations, that I had to place copies of the required windows batch files in both the xLights root directory, and the show directory for it to function.  If I re-name either one of them to take it out of the equation it will not run, "odd" !

I will admit that I haven't tried the setup in my show machine at this stage, only the sequencing machine. Once I had the run process working "correctly", I test ran the scheduler for 10 hours no problem at all, looping perfectly, and running my batch files happily as well, great success, thanks Keith  :-)

I will be interested in any comments that Keith or others may have on this, is this correct or not  ?? or is my installation suspect, or maybe even "finger trouble", but which one!!  :-)

I thought it set the start folder to the show directory. But even if it doesn't the first few lines in your batch file should ensure you are in a known folder.

Thanks Keith, the batch file as we discussed many months ago is very "complicated"  :-) for example :-

echo off
C:
CD\ltc
ltc_11.exe Christmas_is_Here_Toby_Mac.led #dly20 #frm #cls
ltc_11.exe Watching_Tory_St_2016.led #dly20 #frm #cls
ltc_11.exe Listentothelights.led #dly20 #frm #cls
ltc_11.exe Christmas_is_Here_Toby_Mac.led #dly20 #frm #cls
ltc_11.exe Traffic.led #dly20 #frm #cls

Once I got it to run everything went fine, like a dream in fact, thank you very much for your design, and your courteous replies.  If I need to use the "workaround", so be it!!

All the best,

Terry

I heard about your complaint.  I saw a post on Facebook from a Tory Blue that said they were not doing a Christmas show.  So if that's not you then sorry.  All I did was say that if you weren't doing a show questions can wait till January.  Developers are all busy doing their own shows right now and fixing critical problems.  So if I got the wrong Tory it was my bad assumption.  I had already deleted the comment the next day before I knew your feelings were hurt.
