cleaning/compressing

Is there a way to clean-up or compress a fseq file? Maybe get rid of unused timing marks or something? I have one sequence that takes way longer to save than the others, and I believe it to be the fact that I have a lot of extra timing marks.

Timing marks add not one single byte to the fseq file.

Effects also have no impact on file size ... only render time.
