Skewing or aligning an audio track to Sequence
« on: January 05, 2018, 05:42:16 PM »
I'm switching to xlights but I've been using LOR since 2007 and SS. I just finished transferring my 30ish sequences from LOR. I have one song, Christmas Eve Sarajevo, however the effects start a smidge before the music. I know in LOR you could skew the track and line up the audio with the effects.

I dont see that feature in xlights. Is there a way to do this without going back to LOR and editing this sequence?

CHEERS!

PS There is an alignment feature on the right click, but its grayed out!

We typically tell users to use Audacity to edit audio.  What I provided was a Shift Effects feature in the Tools menu so you can use that and type in a positive or negative number of milliseconds to shift all effects in the sequence.   You should use a multiple of the minimum sequence duration like 25ms, 50ms, etc.

Hey Gil. Thanks again. Hope I'm not being a PITA.

The shift effect is grayed when you right click on the effect track. I dont see that option in the tools drop down.
