scheduler only output some channels unti restart
« on: December 04, 2017, 11:33:38 PM »
New to xlights and I'm running a 16 channel LOR controller with Xlights 2017.32. Everything seemed great on day , but the next day when the schedule was set to start, only channels 1-5 lit. If I pause then play again, it works fine. Any ideas? Thanks!

Upgrade to .39 ... there have been lots of scheduler bugs fixed since .32

After the update to 2017.39, the problem still exists.

Have you run check schedule. Does your show folder match.

Yes I ran check. The show directory matches. The only warnings are:

FSEQs without 16 channels
WARN: Playlist '2017' has step 'waterfall' with FSEQ item waterfall with 68 channels when only 16 channels are configured to be sent out.

No password set on website
WARN: Website does not have a password set.

Which is odd, because it only appears I have 16 in the sequence, but unless that is the issue, I don't care right now.

So, I've checked everything I can think of. This is a simple sequence. Ch 1-5 each fade in-out in sequence for a 'waterfall' feature. All other channels are on for the duration. The only common thread is that the five channels with animation come on, but the channels that are just steady on don't. Hmm...

Can you jump into the Wednesday night zoom. Maybe we can help there.

Weird, but I think I fixed it. I had originally set the sequence for a 10 minute loop, but decided that a 3 minute loop was fine. I had changed the sequence length in settings, but didn't worry about the timings that were beyond the 3 minutes (which it wouldn't let me edit because the timing was shortened anyway). I decided to fix this by extending it to 10 minutes again and removing the light info, hen changing it back to 3 minutes. Not sure why, but it seems to have fixed it. Thanks everyone for your help! I'm really enjoying Xlights and can't wait until next year!
