Correction of Spelling related to Papagayo
« on: December 08, 2017, 06:38:05 AM »
I clicked in a lot of places but never found a way to "fix" a mis-spelled word in my Papagayo text.

Could not get Papagayo to create the phonemes for "neigbor"

Turns out that neigbor is not a word. Duh.  But adding the "h" to make it a word eluded me. Finally, I just saved what I had and manually edited the XML file where it was located. Once corrected, the library was happy to create the phonemes for me.

Is there an easier way to fix a typo / spelling error?  If not, could there be?  Right clicking didn't work anywhere.

With xlights open go to settings then down to timing "DClick mode" and check edit text.
Then you should be able to double click and edit.

Thanks. One of the videos said you could but I just didn't hit the right combo. Though, editing the XML isn't too hard, either. :)

Leave the setting alone and use Shift Double-click.

Thanks. I'll try not to misspell anything but now I know.
