scheduler enhancements/bugs
« on: December 15, 2017, 03:39:09 PM »
Used it only one day and walked into some things.

#1 When I select a specific audio driver in the options and sequence with audio won't run. Leaving it at default has no problems. (tried to change that as I'm RDP-ing into the laptop and wanted to prevent the audio to change  to remote sound)

#2 when override volume checkbox is checked its unchecked after closing and reopening scheduler.

#3 some sort of scale on the override volume slider would be very helpful.

#4 priority of playlist items is set as 1 = low prio and 10 = high prio. This is for me and  all the people I asked around me opposite to our logic. I would think that  a P1 overrules all. (I understand that changing it now os nasty for everyone using it so may be a little text explaining what is high and low would be nice )

thanks guys for all the hard work and this is by no means critique, I really am amazed by how well this free software works.

Happy Holidays!

#1 may be fixed in .42. It was definitely not right in .41.

#2 you need to be more specific about where. This appears in 3 places.

#3 really? Halfway is 50% but it depends on your audio drivers, hardware and speakers on how they respond. Generally it is not linear.

#4 not going to change. And it has been explained in at least 3 videos. I will think about a ui hint.

Thanks for the quick follow up.

#1 I'm using .42

#2 Edit playlist, select any FSEQ then in the parameters the checkbox (slider location is preserved oké)

#3 Yeah, just some visual ID. I was for example having one song somewhat silent. So changing all others to the same -20%  and leaving that one at 100% was a bit of guessing. not a big one but more "nice-to-have".

#4 yes got the right idea from the video's and understand changing it would be worse. but a hint label would have been nice.

thx.
