AC sequencing
« on: January 11, 2018, 11:12:52 PM »
I'm trying to sequence some AC elements. Everything was working fine, I was able to turn timings on, off, set the intensity, ramp up, ramp down and ramp up/down. Now it won't let me just turn the timing on. I'll highlight a section to turn on and it will put in one off the other effects. I'll move the cursor to the effect that is on and click but it won't turn off. I can click on another effect and it will turn on and previous effect will turn off but when I click just on the ON effect the last effect that I was using comes back on.

In the screen shot the yellow highlighted area is where I want the timings to be full on. I deselect the effect buttons and select the ON button and it puts in the last effect that I was working with.

Any ideas of what I'm doing wrong? Also I saved the sequence closed it and reopened it and problem remained.

You have the ramp up ramp down effect selected. Select the intensity effect instead.

It's selected because I can't get it to de-select. I don't want any of the effects selected other then full ON. When I click on the full ON one of the other effects also turns on without me selecting it.

You can't deselect it.  You need to click the button 3 over on the left of it.  The "full on" button you have selected is part of the left group which determines whether the effect is solid, twinkling, or shimmer.  The right group icons determine if its an even leveled, ramp up, ramp down, etc.  So you need one icon selected in the left group and another in the right group.  You cannot deselect all icons in the right group.

Select the ON button, the intensity button and set the intensity to what you want.

Keith has a good video on the AC programming

Got it, I must have not noticed that the intensity button was selected when I used the full ON earlier in the sequence.

I have watched several videos, so many that my mind is scrambled. Thanks for the new video link, I'll watch it and then take a break.  :)

Thanks to ALL for the help!
