Coro Tree Question
« on: January 26, 2018, 02:02:33 PM »
Has anyone used these trees with Pixels instead of dumb RGB?

What would be the point.  With a diffused look you cannot see the pixels and I suspect those trees look better in one color.

are not the LEDs just sitting on the bottom shining up? you would have the somehow stand up the lights and that then make then only lit from 3 sides. your looking for lighting like my snowflakes. the inside would be wired like this.

I made a different mount for the lights, yes I have a few of these Hexatrees, long before boscoyo. I put a pole up the middle and have rectangles mounted at 3 levels within the tree. The rectangles give a 360 degree light output and I can have up to three color levels on the tree.
