Dual LOR files
« on: April 16, 2018, 08:32:23 AM »
I've been out of the loop for a couple of years and the changes in lights are many and need a little help.

How do you input/combine 2 LOR file into one Xlights file.

I have a SUP and LMS file with separate parts of the sequence.

Is there a video or procedure step by step some where just explaining how to do it.

I don't keep video links memorized but I'm sure relevant videos can be found at videos.xlights.org.

Just don't look for trying to combine those files.  Just look for importing LOR into an xLights sequence and importing SuperStar into an xLights sequence because the operations can be done independently of what already exists in the sequence.

I have looked at to many Xlights videos and don't remember seeing one doing both or the gotchas ypu have to be aware of.

Will look again

That's exactly what I just said to NOT look for.  We don't try to teach doing both together they are independent operations.  You can import 20 times into the same sequence if you want.  We won't destroy data so it will either fail to place an effect if there's a conflict or in the case of SuperStar it will just keep creating new layers to receive the imported data.
