Text effect size / movement issue
« on: May 11, 2018, 01:01:54 PM »
Hello,

I'm adding a 22x18 radio frequency sign matrix this year.  I figured out how to use layers to add multiple lines of text, but I can't quite figure out how to do what I really want.  What I would like is a scrolling movement from bottom to top of the text saying Tune To 93.9 FM.  Ideally for size, I would like to have it broken up into to "halves."  For example, right now when I put "Tune To" on the matrix with the word tune on the top, the size is great, but now I can't figure out how to add the 93.9 FM keeping with the same size (basically like a page 2 of what the first half is).  The second issue I'm having is if I just have "tune to" displayed since that is a good size for the matrix, if I select movement UP, it blends them into one line and doesn't move them as a unit.  Anybody know a way to get the size and movement that I'm looking to do?  Thanks for any help.

Its simple you just stagger the 2nd line on the timeline to have it enter the frame later.

Ahhh....yep it actually was that easy!  THANK YOU!!  One thing I had to do was get the speed I liked (2) and then let one full run of the 4 lines complete with the staggered start/end times and create a small (minus 1.45 sec. from end of last text to beginning of repeat text) gap so that it gave me more of a space from the end of the text to the beginning of the repeat.  Otherwise, it put the repeating text too close to the end for me and I didn't want to slow it down anymore.  But that worked great!
