Megatree Signature effect

So many people have this signature effect on their mega tree... it's like a dancing ribbon. Similar to this, 53 seconds into Sean's video, https://vimeo.com/192650790. What effect do you begin with ?

I looked at wave but it doesn't start at the top. The one I'm looking for starts at the top of your Mega tree and ribbons down. In this video, 1:15, https://vimeo.com/195356120

Did you try going into shared presets and look up double spiral when you look at that and it will tell you how it's done

It looks like a simple Spirals effect to me. She has a few of them stacked in layers and offset in time based on what I see in the video around 1:15.

Wave effect like Keith said, but rotate the buffer 90 degrees on the layer settings window.

Yep. I was trying to test it and kept trying to use rotozoom and it looked terrible no matter which axis I tried. Took awhile to notice the transformations drop-down.
