Layer Setting>Buffer>Preset.....
« on: July 05, 2018, 09:21:40 AM »
Shouldn't the chosen Preset be displayed instead of a blank after selecting something from the Pull Down, like chosing Shake...then shouldn't Shake show in the Preset? At least in the Mac version I am running (2018.20) it never shows anything in that Pull Down.

The attached screenshot shows the pulldown as it displays immediately after I have selected Shake - and Shake is actually happening on my Model...so I know it was chosen.

That is correct and intended.

Are you saying it is intended that we should not be able to see which Preset has been selected? If so, why would you not want to display the Preset currently selected.

Because the preset is not selected. It sets the settings but you can immediately change them. So it is effective a shortcut to set them to a preset not a way to set it to a given setting and hold it there. Again the behaviour is as intended and it isn’t going to change.
