Layout screen blanks out with adding/deleting props or changing prop names

When adding a prop or deleting the layout screen area where all the models are goes blank for up to 7+ seconds with a "Not Responding" in the top left corner.

When renaming a prop the same problem happens though this time the "Model/Group  Start Channel" area also goes blank for up to 14+ seconds

I am currently running Windows 10 and... Intel® Core i7-7700 Processor @ 3.6GHz with 32GB DDR4 (4-DIMM) 2400MHz RAM and a 1TB 7200RPM SATA3 Hard Drive + 256GB Solid State Drive with a 8GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 Graphics card (I have updated with the lates drivers)

Yeah we already had Brett's show folder which shows the issue.  Dan already checked in a change that improves it quite a bit.  For a copy/paste on Brett's layout it went from 6 seconds to 1 second on my PC.

Is the fix available yet or will it be available in the next release?

So that depends.  If you want to get setup to build the code yourself the fix is available now.

But whenever I say a change/fix is checked in it means it will be in the next release.

Got it! Thanks for all the work you put into this!  No way in hell I'd be able to do any kind of code fix
