Weird effect seen in both whole house, and model/groups preview in one sequence.  After a number of hours sequencing if say a solid colour wash is applied to some model groups, and or windows, only a part of the model is illuminated or shows the effect.

For example one window model displays one side and one horizontal, while another displays one horizontal only, and a Polyline group has a number of strings and pixels missing.

My other sequences appear to be OK at this stage.

Have I done something wrong or is it a bug!!

Version 2018.32, 64 Bit, Windows 7 Pro, 3.4Gig Quadcore.

Make sure that those effects have a full buffer.
The buffer window is the black box under layer settings.

Thankyou Ebuechner, that was the culprit, I rarely touch the buffer, and wasn't aware that it could create such a visual "problem"  :-(  I had resized a graphic in a previous sequence using the buffer, which must  have remained "re-sized" and I didn't notice when I loaded a new sequence to modify/sequence.

I will duly take note  :-)

Question, what should I do to ensure this doesn't happen by accident ?? I see there are two checkboxes on that panel.

The check boxes "reset panel when changing effects" will cure a good portion of this problem.
Being able to have the boxes fully open so you can be aware of all the settings is another thing that helps.
This will never go away completely you'll have a setting here and there that will catch you off guard while you're sequencing

Thankyou, I suspected that that check box "might" help  :-)  Being only my second year with xLights, and at this stage I am converting large sections of my display from AC LED's to Pixels so I guess I will eventually discover  some of the hidden depths of it. There are so many properties/permutations available for each effect that it is hard for an "old brain" to comprehend, and remember what you "might have" done - "by mistake"  :-(

I am afraid I have to keep the top set of boxes fairly well squeezed up to have sufficient area of the sequencing canvas visible when working, hence my missing the reduction of the buffer area  :-(
