Singing Faces Help
« on: November 18, 2018, 07:33:59 PM »
I'm adding singing faces to my mega tree and have followed the videos about the click to edit tab on the pixel tree model faces tab and downloading the images and saving them. My problem comes when I go to the effects setting and try to select the Face Definitions dropdown it only has default as a selection. I can go back to my layout tab and the pixel tree faces and see the faces I've named and downloaded there but not able to select them when I got to the effect settings tab. Any ideas what I have missed?  Running 2018.30 64 bit.

Very old version. Does it not work in .46?

Updated to current version, still having same issue, did render, save, exit and restart Xlights and still only have default as face definition. I did create another face as well under the new version but still have the issue.  Dropped a couple of screen shots as well.  Pretty sure something simple I'm missing but I cant see it.

Yes, I included screen shot for clarity.

So click on the dropped effect before trying to set the settings

I clicked on  the face effect that I dropped on the pixel tree model (lines on left and right of face turn red) then I click on the face definition on the effects setting box and the dropdown only shows default instead of the face names I created.

Keith is it possible my one drive setup on windows 10 is causing the problem?  I was rereading the manual on the faces on a matrix and saw the file warning below. Beginning to wonder is that why only default shows because of the one drive setup and file location outside of the expected norm it is looking for.

Run check sequence to see if you get any errors.
