Spinner
« on: December 06, 2018, 06:43:44 AM »
Hello everyone
I introduce myself to Marzio and I write from Italy.
This is my first year doing Christmas light show.
For now I have not encountered problems, but I can not understand how to make a spinner eight arms four
with ten pixels and four with 5 pixels alternated.
I'm using Xlights version 51 64 bit on windows 10.
thank you in advance for the help.

First welcome.  My spinner is 12 arms with 4 different length arms. I had just created a custom model.  The other way you could do it is to create two separate spinners models, lay one on top of the other and then combine them into one group. I'm

hi
Thank you for your answer.
I also thought of your second solution (overlap the two elements and manage them as a single group).
I would like to understand how to create custom models, I tried, but I can not figure out how to do it.

There are video tutorials on how to build a custom model, one way, which I have never done is to film it running through a special sequence. The other way is to graft it. Plot it out on graph paper and plot the points. Transfer that into the custom model setup.  I'm sure someone will jump in and give you the links to the videos.  I'm on the road today.
