2D Background Image Missing
« on: February 17, 2019, 10:03:43 PM »
Just upgraded to the lastest version of xLights and the background image of my house is missing. I'm new this year to xLights - Converting from LOR so maybe I'm not sure how everything works and I'm missing something. I know the latest version has 3D but I have not selected it.

Watched the video from Gil Jones and didn't see anything about this. Can I still show an image in 2D?

Appreciate the help.

If you click any empty area inside the Layout window it will display the background properties window on the left where you can click the field to set your image.  I didn't select an image in my video but I did bring up that property grid when I was showing how to set some of the 2D background properties like width, height, and the centering checkbox.

I believe this is a .12 bug. I can reproduce it in .12 but not in the .13 dev builds so someone has likely fixed it since .12 came out.

Hmm...I haven't been running 2019.12 but also I don't see any checkins after the .12 release that could possibly affect display of the 2D background image.

Same here: in .12 and .13 any 2d images (even if they are assigned in the sequence) are missing.  The file path is correct and anything before .12 displays them without a problem.
