How to run CCR's in xlights
« on: November 19, 2014, 08:07:12 AM »
I have converted my lor lms file into xlights, but all that light up is the first group of 4. Yes. First tested them in the hardware setup, all worked. Sequenced them in lor superstar last year. Am trying to convert to xlights.

I have converted my lor lms file into xlights, but all that light up is the first group. When I test in xl only first four lights in ccr lite up. Have configured hardware to DMX in LOR with a lor Cat5 to XL cable.
Has anyone got them to work?
Any suggestions or a possible wiring diagram could help.

Look at the first entry in this section and there are some notes from flyinverted on CCR conversion. See if that helps.

If they all light up properly with the hardware test and the colors match, then your wiring is most likely correct.

If any lights do not light up as they should from an LOR conversion, then it's the channel mappings that are not right. The channel mappings are done automatically during the conversion based on the adapters in your NC hardware config during the conversion process.

1. Convert LOR to NC, note the output from the conversion message window
2. Reconfigure NC networking to match the LOR sequence.
3. Reconvert, save, play.

Watch the video that's a sticky in this forum.
I haven't converted an LOR sequence to NC where the source LOR file is configured for DMX. I believe at this time, the conversion routine assumes an LOR controller, so just add fake LOR controllers to your NC sequence for the conversion process.

Did you delete any beat channels or timing channels? make sure when you convert your Lms file that there are no extra channels

Everything has been deleted. converted into xlights. Went to preview the CCR's would show playing to the song, but no light out to them?
