Effects on single strand
« on: November 07, 2018, 03:15:55 PM »
I have a wreath which has three circular set of lights. I have created sub models for the three separate circular strands.

Am trying to model a chase effect which would go around first circle and then to the next. Tried single strand and curtain but not gettting the effect of pixels lighting up one after another or turning off one after another. The current options allow chase from left to right or top to bottom but I have not figured out to define a start point for the chase to go around the circle. Do I need to provide more information. Thanks

Try setting the buffer to single line. That will likely give you what you want.

I would have created that model using the Circle model and just enter 18,18,18 for layer sizes.  Then you don't need sub-models because every layer is already a strand.  Set center percentage to about 50%.
