LOR config order in XLights
« on: July 05, 2019, 09:48:03 PM »
My import from LOR looks odd. I'm having a problem with toggle string/toggle node and render. My show in LOR has way more AC channels than I will use here. I have 99% dumb RGB. Does the configuration order need to be the same in Xlights as LOR? If I have a large 12 string RGB first in my XLIGHTs channel list does it need to be first in LOR? How do others handle this transition if they are adding elements on top of what LOR has?

It really depends on how you are importing.  If you use the Import Effects Menu option you should be able to map the channels anywhere you want.

This would be opposed to doing when you start a sequence? I'll give it a try. Do people typically organize their channels from left to right or in an order in Xlights?

If you mean using the Data Layer option when creating a sequence then yes all the channels need to match.  Most people don't use that method anymore.
