Stable Version for this season?
« on: October 10, 2019, 06:44:28 PM »
Hey All,

Back in August version 2019.46 or 2019.47 (don't remember which) Keith mentioned at release time on Facebook that they are getting close to a "stable version" for this season.

Is that 'version' out yet?  Or is it advisable to continue to update with the new versions that pop up every few days for a while longer?  I would like to 'freeze' my version for this season at some point in the not too distant future.

Freeze when you are happy with what it is doing. We can’t announce a stable version as we never know what is going to turn up.

I freeze when my lights are up and working.  Then no more updates until the following year unless there is something in a new release I NEED.

Thanks for the responses guys....that makes me feel better....since I don't have to factor in a software release window in my setup plans....

I got burned once several years ago with another sequencer...an update came out and caused me some issues just I was due to power up for the season....since then I've always been a little cautious about an upgrade going in to a season....So I thought I would check just in case.....
