two props on same port
« on: December 02, 2019, 05:49:27 PM »
I am running a F48. On def board 1-4 I think port 1 is bad.  No lights come from it.  Checked it and has power do think data line is bad.  Have an idea but not sure it is ok to do.  Port 1 and 2 run back to back icicles.  If I take both and run them out of port 2, will that work?  They are running at 30% so no issue with too many amps.  But will it effect the data?  Not ideal but better than lights out....
Should I up them a bit to maybe 40% each?  Just an idea so I do not have a section of 60 lights out.

You can run multiple props from a single port.
If you are uploading the config just set the port number and upload.
If you are manually configuring then you may find it easier if you have the models using contiguous channels.

Fixed - The cat5 cable was bad.  Replaced cable and port 1 now works....
